With that being said let's talk about and take a look at why that's an issue. In order to make power, we need air, with the charge air system on the LB7 trucks it is a massive choke point. So we went to work, starting we increased the diameter of the tubing. HSP Diesel went to a 3 Inch tube diameter, this gave us a major flow difference over the factory part. After we had our size dialed in we went on to bend this pipe with the smoothest bends we could do. This gives the air the best path to flow and gave us the least amount of turbulence in the flow. Many of our customers state a power increase however that increase will vary depending on aftermarket options of turbo, fuel, and tuning that you have on the truck.
